Here are 3 things to keep in mind while worshiping Lakshmi on Diwali!
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Goddess Lakshmi and Ganapati Maharaj are worshiped. According to the scriptures, the night of Diwali is considered to be the best auspicious time for Lakshmi-Ganesh worship to achieve wealth, splendor, prosperity and good fortune. But it is also important to keep in mind the rules of architecture in the worship of Mother Lakshmi. These architectural rules are as follows:
Which direction to worship?
First of all, the worship room should be clean. Its walls are light yellow, pink or green because these colors increase the level of positive energy. Black, blue and gray should not be used on the walls of the worship room. According to architecture, the direction of mental clarity and knowledge is considered to be a suitable place to worship the north-east (northeast) because this angle is associated with the auspicious effects of east and north. The effect of sattva energy in this area of the house is one hundred percent.
Place the worship material in a north-easterly direction:
The face should face north or east during worship. As the north is an area of wealth, this area is suitable for Yaksha Sadhana (Kuber), Lakshmi Pujan and Ganesh Pujan. Put a new earthen Lakshmi-Ganesh idol or picture in Diwali worship. Silver idols can be used for cleaning and re-worship. It is auspicious to place the worship urn and other worship materials in the northeast direction.
Red color:
The color red is very dear to Goddess Lakshmi. Red and color are also considered as symbols of strength and bravery in architecture, so the clothes, make-up and flowers offered to Mother Lakshmi should be as red as possible. Making a swastika with vermilion or rangoli at the door of the worship room does not allow negative forces to enter the house.
Conch:
According to Vastu Shastra, the sound of conch shells and ringing of bells pleases the Goddess and the surrounding environment becomes pure and holy. Worship of Shriyantra, Kauri and Gomti Chakra in Diwali worship brings happiness and prosperity. Worship of Shriyantra, Gomati Chakra in Diwali worship brings happiness and prosperity.
