Lord Shiva had a total of 9 children out of which, one daughter and 8 sons are mentioned in scriptures.
Ashok Sundari: Mata Parvati composed Ashok Sundari to overcome her loneliness.
Karthikeya: He is also called Subramaniam, Murugan and Skanda.
Ganesh: He was originated by Parvati ji with a boiled mixture of sandalwood.
Sukesh: His mother Salkankata was an adulteress. He left Sukesh unclaimed. Shiva adopted them. The family of demons came from Sukesh itself.
Jalandhar: Jalandhar was born by the fast thrown by Lord Shiva into the sea, which had immense power. Jalandhar defeated Sri Hari Vishnu and planned to snatch Goddess Lakshmi from him. Then Lord Vishnu disbanded the husbandry religion of Vrinda. After which Shiva killed Jalandhar.
Ayyappa: Lord Ayyappa’s father is Shiva and mother Mohini. It is said that Lord Shiva was ejaculated upon seeing Shri Hari Mohini. His semen was called Pard and his semen later gave birth to a son named Sastava who was called Ayyappa in South India. They are called ‘Hariharputra’ due to their origin from Shiva and Vishnu.
Bhuma: Once in ancient times Lord Shiva was sitting in meditation on Mount Kailash, at that time three drops of sweat fell on the earth from his forehead. From these drops the earth gave birth to a child, who had four arms and the age was of blood color. It is said that he is called Bhum by being the son of the land.
Andhak: Puranas also read the description of Shiva’s son named Andhak. When Goddess Parvati covered the eyes of Lord Shiva with her hands, the whole creation became dark. Then Andhak was born.
Khuja: They came out of the earth like sharp rays and went straight towards the sky.
