When there is very dark at night, then Mahadev is overjoyed after lighting near the Shivling. According to Shiv Puran, this creation has been created by the desire of Shiva, due to this, the happiness of Bholenath gets the blessings of all the deities.
A script is told in the scriptures regarding this remedy. And know which are the miraculous auspicious lamps installed near the Shivling
According to the scriptures, in ancient times, Kubera Dev was a thief in his former life. They used to steal the wealth of temples. One night they reached Lord Shiva’s temple to steal. It was quite dark as it was night. Nothing was visible to the thief in the dark. The thief then lit a lamp to steal it. In the light of the lamp, he clearly saw the wealth of the temple.
The thief was stealing the contents of the temple that the lamp was extinguished by the wind. The person lit the lamp again, the lamp was extinguished again for some time and Kubera lit the lamp again. This process occurred several times.
By attaining a lamp in front of Shiva at night, his grace is attained. Kubera did not know this, but Bholenath became very pleased with Kubera by lighting a lamp repeatedly during the night.
Kubera had inadvertently worshiped Lord Shiva by lighting a lamp repeatedly while stealing, consequently Mahadev appointed the thief as treasurer of the gods in the next life. Since then, Kubera Dev became the supreme devotee and dhanapati of Mahadev. According to this legend, whoever shines in the Shiva temple at night, gets the special blessings of Mahadev.
According to the scriptures, Kubera Dev is the foster brother of Ravana and has been given the boon by Lord Shankar to be Dhanapala. Vishnu, the father of Ravana and Kubera Dev, was a sage. The sage Vishvara had two wives, Idvida and Kaikasi. Kubera Dev’s mother is Idvida and she was the daughter of a Brahmin clan. Kaikasi is the mother of Ravana. Kaikasi was an asura girl, for this reason Ravana was of an asura tendency.
The statues of Kubera Dev are usually seen, which are broad bodied and bedroll. In some scriptures, Kubera Dev is described as ugly, while in some texts Kubera Dev is considered a demon.
Kubera Dev is also described as Yaksha. Yakshas are also the protectors of wealth. The Yakshas only protect the wealth, do not consume it. The temples which were built in ancient times also had idols of Kubera outside the temple, as Kubera protects the wealth of the temple of Dev.
The wealth of Kubera Dev remains buried or lying somewhere in the form of a treasure. Kubera’s residence is mentioned on the tree. Such trees are not in the house or courtyard, are not even in the center of the village or city, such trees are mostly away from the resident areas outside the village or city or in Biyaban itself.
According to the scriptures, Goddess Mahalakshmi should be worshiped to get wealth. Along with Mahadevi, worshiping Kubera Dev, the god of wealth, also removes problems related to money. For this reason, along with the worship of any deity, it is very beneficial to worship them.
According to the scriptures, several measures have been suggested to increase wealth, happiness and prosperity in life. Those who adopt definitely get auspicious results.
