LSD: People often think Infatuation and love are two sides of the same coin. If you think it’s true then you are totally wrong. Love needs immense consciousness. Love is a meeting of two souls, and infatuation is lust. Lust is the meeting of two bodies. Lust is animal; love is divine. But unless you know that you are a soul, you cannot understand what love is. Love gives freedom, but Infatuation thinks he/she is only mine property (Maal).
Love makes you Smile, while infatuation brings tears of grief to you. We never try to look at love as the meeting of two souls. We have misunderstood that infatuation is love without knowing its meaning. I can’t tell you what love is but I can tell you the way to understand it. It is important to know the soul before you understand love in your life. And you have to be spiritual to know your soul.
To know the soul you have to meditate. Meditation helps you to become more aware, alert, so that slowly, slowly you start seeing that you are not just the body, that you are not just even the mind, that there is something else hidden behind it all, which is your real life. And once you become aware of your real life, your being, you will know that the joy of being is so overflowing that one wants to share it with someone who is receptive, someone who is available, with someone who is ready to open his heart.
The meeting of two consciousnesses is love.
Discover your consciousness and you will find what love is. It is an experience, and there is no way to say anything about it, more than that which I have said. The meeting of two consciousnesses merging into each other brings the greatest orgasm the universe allows. But before that, you have to move away from the body and the mind and the heart, and reach to the very center of your being.
Once you have reached to the center of your being, you will find love radiating from you. It is not something to be done by you. It will be just as if the sun has risen and the flowers have opened, and the air has become filled with their fragrance. The one you loved the most and suddenly it turns into hatred, Then believe me my friend that it is infatuation. Love is a by-product of meditation. Only the meditator knows what love is.
