Shiva Navratri 2022: Shiva Navratri, a nine-day festival of Shiva worship, will be held from 21 February to 1 March, Mahashivratri. On this occasion, devotees will worship with reverence by establishing a Shivling and Mother Parvati in the house of worship by taking a resolution of the fast. Worship Panchagavya, betel nut, bel leaves etc. will be offered. Devotees will go to the temple and chant the Mahamrityunjaya mantra by reciting Shivashtak, Rudrashtak. Mahamandaleshwar Dadu Maharaj told that Shiva is pleased with the worship of Shiva for nine days on Shiva Navratri. Similarly Hanuman, the son of Pawan, is an incarnation of Rudra. They also make life beautiful by the recitation of Sunderkand. The darkness spreads away from life and the light spreads. Its collective recitation increases the power manifold. Due to this, a group recitation of the fifth step of the Ramcharit Manas, Sundarkand, will be done at the Gajasin Shani temple located in Usha Nagar for Shiva Navratri.
