Maha Shivratri 2022: Mahashivratri has a special significance for Shiva devotees. Devotees worship Lord Bholenath in their own way by keeping a fast on this day.

According to the Panchang of Sanatan Dharma, the festival of Mahashivratri is celebrated every year on the Chaturdashi tithi of the Krishna Paksha of Falgun month. Mahashivratri comes once in a year and on this day devotees try to please Lord Bholenath in many ways. This time Maha Shivratri will be celebrated on 1 March 2022. On this day the devotees of Bholenath especially try to please the Lord by offering prayers. Let us know how Bholenath should be worshiped on this day.

Method Of Maha Shivratri Vrat:
Let us tell you that a day before the Maha Shivratri fast, on Trayodashi, devotees should eat food without onions etc. Whereas on the day of Shivratri, after taking bath in the morning, one should go to the temple to worship and
take a vow to fast in front of this Lord Bholenath with full devotion. During Sankalp, devotees seek the blessings of Lord Shiva to complete the fasting period. How will you keep the fast, that is, fruit or nirjala, then take a vow. On the occasion of Shivaratri, worship of Lord Shiva should be done especially at night. After fasting for the whole day and night, the fast is broken after taking a bath on the next day after sunrise.

Four Pahar Puja:
Mahashivratri is worshiped once or four times in the night in different ways. The duration of the whole night can be divided into four to obtain four prahars (prahars) for worshiping Shiva four times. On this day, each Prahar has a different method of worship. 1. Ratri Prahar Puja : 06:21 PM to 09:27 PM
2. Ratri Prahar Puja: 09:27 PM to 12:33 PM (March 02)
3. Ratri Prahar Puja : 12:33 PM to 03:39 AM (March 02)
4. Ratri Prahar Puja: 03:39 am to 06:45 am (March 02)

At the same time, the time of Nishita Kaal Puja is going to be from 12:08 am to 12:58 am on March 02.
