We are connected to resources. This relationship makes one calm and excited about one’s existence. It doesn’t matter how long you sleep, what matters is how deep and unmanaged you sleep. There are some rules in Vastu for peaceful and uninterrupted sleep, by following which everyone can lead a healthy and active life.
Don’t sleep in the north direction: Scientific tests have shown that the human body is affected by magnetic waves and emits subtle magnetic waves that cause attraction and deviation in the halo. Just as the Earth is the North Pole, the part of the human body’s brain is also considered the North Pole. Therefore, for complete comfortable rest, the head should always be facing south so that the magnetic waves can flow in the right direction. Conversely, sleeping with the head facing north disturbs the magnetic field, making it difficult for a person to sleep well. According to Vastu, sleeping with the head facing north is obstructing sleep, which can lead to headaches as well as mental illness.
East direction for spirituality and concentration: In architecture, Indra, the king of the gods, is considered the lord of the east direction. When you sleep with your head turned in this direction, sleep, memory, concentration and health remain good and your inclination towards spirituality increases. According to Vastu, it can be beneficial for students to sleep with their head facing east to increase memory and concentration.
